Updates to the new MTurk Worker website
The new Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk) Worker site now enables Workers to discover, accept, and submit Human Intelligence Tasks (HITs), to Request Qualifications, to view detailed status of HITs they’ve submitted, and to disburse their earnings. The MTurk homepage has also been refreshed with simpler navigation and a new look-and-feel.
Today we’re pleased to launch the new Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk) Worker website for all MTurk Workers. The new website delivers a modern look and feel and a simple, mobile-responsive user experience. Workers that registered after November 1st 2017, have been using the new Worker website as their default experience. These customers have helped share valuable and thoughtful feedback to improve the site further. We’ve drawn from that feedback as we’ve continued to add functionality to the new Worker site. Here is a summary of the changes:
Workers now can explore all HITs, including the ones that they don’t yet qualify for. Workers can now request Qualifications in order to qualify to complete these HITs.
View Details for Submitted HITs
From the Dashboard section of the MTurk Worker site, Workers can now view the details of HITs they submitted over the last 45 days. To do this, Workers simply click on the date and they’ll be presented a breakdown for that day. The breakdown includes the Requester, HIT title, and HIT reward amount, along with details on the HIT’s status (approved, rejected, pending, or paid), feedback from the Requester, and the ability to Contact the Requester.
In the Earnings section of the Dashboard, Workers can disburse their earnings to an Amazon.com gift card, or if they are eligible, to a linked bank account.
Workers can now view and manage their account settings, such as email and address information, by clicking on their name in the top right corner of the website.
Refreshed MTurk Site
We’re also pleased to announce a new look-and-feel for the MTurk homepage. The homepage is designed to help new and existing Requesters and Workers learn about MTurk and get started quickly.
We’re not done. Later this month, we plan to update the Worker sandbox site, used by Requester customers to test their HITs and workflow, to match the new Worker website. We’re grateful for all the feedback and support from Worker customers that helped us to reach today’s milestone. We look forward to continuing to improve the site to deliver a delightful experience to our Worker customers.
