We are pleased to announce that we are adding support for Requester registration from 16 more countries, including Israel, Italy, and Japan, bringing the total to 43.

Now more Requesters than ever can use MTurk to innovate in the areas of gathering ground truth data for machine learning, transcription, categorization, market research, and more.

When additional Requesters join MTurk, it helps to create more diverse opportunities for Workers to earn rewards. In October 2016, we announced support for Requester registrations from the first three countries outside the US. Since then we had added many more countries and thousands of new Requesters have registered from outside the US. They have created millions of tasks and paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to Workers.

Today, Requesters from 43 countries can sign up to use MTurk:

Americas: Barbados, Canada, French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Martinique, United States, US Virgin Islands; Africa: Botswana, Mayotte, Reunion, South Africa; Asia-Pacific: Australia, French Polynesia, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Qatar, Singapore, Taiwan; Europe: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom

Once registered, customers in these countries will get access to all Requester features including Project and batch management, the Requester API, task layout design, project templates, prepaid HIT purchases and more.

Tasks can be designed in any language and Requesters can use Qualifications to seek Workers with specific language skills when needed. MTurk’s website and customer support will continue to be in US English only; Requester payments for rewards, bonuses and fees will also continue to be in US dollars.

Customers can sign up as Requesters at https://requester.mturk.com. You can learn more about being a Requester by visiting our FAQs. If you have any questions, please post a question to our MTurk forums. Want to contribute as a Worker customer? Get started here.
